Blue Desert Tour

The Blue Desert Tour is a jazz music workshop and concert series designed to promote healing in Indigenous communities throughout the Four Corners. The Tour features three Indigenous-led bands:

  • D’DAT - A four-part contemporary jazz/hip-hop band led by trumpeter Delbert Anderson
  • il-yat Collective - An all-womxn combo inspired by jazz and ancestral songs, led by vocalist Julia Keefe
  • Rico Jones Quartet - A blues/jazz ensemble led by saxophonist Rico Jones

A workshop will take place in the afternoon/evening at the El Morro Events Center and then a concert kicks off sometime around 7pm. (Details to follow).

All events are free, bring your families and friends for this fantastic downtown musical event.

NOTE: parking is available on Route 66 and Aztec, with some limited parking on Coal due to the construction between 1st and 2nd street. Please allow walking time when attending the event.
