Red Rock Park Trails

Gallup's stunning Red Rock Park contains over three miles of hiking trails from two different trailheads that make for stunning views. These trails often offer a great opportunity to see wildlife (from a distance!) as well as views of Fort Wingate in the distance.

  • Pyramid Rock Trail has an elevation of 7,487 feet. This trail is 1.7 miles but also has a connector to the Church Rock Trail that is 1.3 miles long. The trail head is at the end of the road behind the Red Rock Park Arena on Pyramid Trail Road.
  • Church Rock Trail's stem is 0.7 miles but then you can walk a loop at the end of the stem that is 0.8 miles long. This trail head is at the back of the field behind the main campground on Outlaw Road.
