“66 Artists on 66” is a combination Art Show and Handmade Souvenir Shop celebrating the Centennial of US Route 66. Inspired by the spirit and legacy of The Mother Road, this homespun showcase brings together 66 local artists for two months in downtown Gallup--at a gallery located on historic Route 66--to honor a century of culture, confluence, and community.

From heirloom-quality Churro wool Navajo weavings, vintage-style hand carved Katsinas, and handcrafted silver and beaded jewelry, to striking desert photography, original paintings, and mixed media works, to bag charms, stickers, and wooden figurines, every piece tells a story rich with the character that has defined Route 66 for 100 years.

“66 Artists on 66” is a living tribute to Route 66--to the places, people, and possibilities that belong to the open road.
