About YCC
YCC is an organization funded by the government for young adults to provide workers for national and community trails, county forests, and other local recreational areas while encouraging environmental stewardship and civic responsibility. YCC also provides training in a variety of fields that may relate to career opportunities.
About Working for YCC
- Eligible Ages: 16 – 25 Years
- MUST BE A NM RESIDENT
- Applications Open - April 2025
- Program Start & End Dates - 05-27-2025 to October 2025.
- 40 Hr. Work Week: Mon. - Fri., 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (30 min lunch break)
- Outdoor Setting/ PPE: Long Sleeved Shirt, Full Covering Pants, Jacket or Windbreaker is optional
- PPE Program Provides: Hard Hat, Safety Glasses, Safety Vest, and Safety Toe Boots
