● July 2nd –World UFO Day: Galaxy Spaceship Craft
Celebrate World UFO Day with an out-of-this-world craft at the library! Young space
explorers are invited to create their own handmade galaxy spaceship using paper bowls,
paper plates, recycled tissue rolls, and other everyday materials. Blast off into
imagination as you design, decorate, and build a one-of-a-kind spacecraft ready for an adventure among the stars. This creative program encourages recycling, hands-on
making, and cosmic fun for curious kids.
● July 9th – Dinosaur Craft Adventure
Calling all young dinosaur fans! Little explorers are invited to stomp, create, and imagine
with a fun dinosaur-themed craft at the library. Kids will transform a recycled toilet paper
roll into their very own cute dinosaur, then customize it with their favorite colors,
patterns, and prehistoric personality. This hands-on activity encourages creativity,
recycling, and imaginative play while keeping young learners engaged in a roaring good
adventure. Come make a Dino friend to take home!
● July 16th – Suncatcher Dinosaur Craft
Bring a little prehistoric sunshine into your day with a colorful Suncatcher Dinosaur
Craft. Families are invited to create their own dinosaur-themed suncatchers in this bright
and cheerful hands-on activity designed for kids and adults to enjoy together. This
creative project encourages artistic expression, imagination, and curiosity about the
fascinating world of dinosaurs. Whether you are a seasoned crafter or trying something
new, come make a dazzling Dino decoration that will catch the light and add a splash of
color to your window.
● July 23rd – Felt Dinosaur Craft
Bring a prehistoric friend to life with a fun and imaginative Felt Dinosaur Craft at the
library! Kids will use simple materials such as felt, fabric scraps, old socks, googly eyes,
and colorful decorations to design their own one-of-a-kind dinosaur character. From silly
spikes to friendly faces, each dinosaur will be as unique as its creator. This hands-on craft
encourages imagination while helping children strengthen fine motor skills, hand-eye
coordination, and problem-solving as they cut, fit, arrange, and build their Dino creations.
● July 30th – Miniature Jewelry Weaving Craft
Celebrate creativity, culture, and community with a special Miniature Weaving Jewelry
Craft on Thursday, July 30, 2026, in honor of the Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial and
Summer Indian Dances & Art Market. Young makers are invited to explore the beauty
of weaving as they create their own miniature jewelry piece inspired by patterns, textures,
and handmade traditions.
This must-attend craft experience brings together art, learning, and imagination in a
meaningful hands-on activity. As children weave, design, and build, they will strengthen
fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, concentration, and problem-solving while
